Last snow day pics- SC Children's Portrait Photographer
Sunday, March 07, 2010

One last snow session. I promised his mom if we had one more snow she'd be the first I'd call. So braving the falling snow and chilly wind we headed out for a quick session. I can't wait for spring when we have out next session together.

Senior Girl Snow Day Session- SC HIgh School Senior Photographer
Sunday, March 07, 2010

Snow is such a rarity that when we still had a little left with our first snow a few weeks ago, I jumped at the chance to put together a shoot with two soon to be high school seniors. I styled this shoot the way I still like to think high school days should be, full of fun and innocent laughter, with maybe just a tad of youthful sexiness. I think we all had an awesome time and I can't wait for the chance to begin capturing more images of 2011's high school seniors. Currently Rackley Photography is booking Senior Sessions for 2011 high school seniors. We are only doing a limited number of these styled sessions, so contact us to book your session, before space runs out!

Mike & Anah- Charleston Wedding Photography
Friday, February 19, 2010

As I traveled down to Charleston I begged and pleaded with the rain to stop. Only once in the distant past has it actually rained during one of my outdoor weddings. But Mother Nature had other plans. As Anah and Mike’s outdoor wedding was moved inside, I wondered if it would put a damper on the wedding that I had been pre-warned by the bride and her sister as being a sort of Rita Hayworth meets family reunion.

What I found was a wedding that was all about laughter, fun, family and friends. As the wedding day evolved all of the butterflies in my stomach turned to smile lines on my face and out right laughter from my lips. And the cozy atmosphere of the guest brought together in one room warmed my heart.

I want to thank Mike & Anah, because on this day I had a few first; the first ever, I want to fall on the floor laughing at the toast from one of the grooms childhood friends, to a doting father who I really wish would adopt me, to watching your wedding rings passed from hand to hand as each guest said a sweet blessing for your marriage, and to a bride who no matter how hard the rain fell she smiled as radiant as the sun on an August afternoon. It was a blessing to be apart of your special day and I wish you lots of joy and happiness.

the ring warming, the rings where passed around by the guests as they said blessings for mike and anah's marrage.

Anah and Mike incorporated a special suprise birthday cake and dance for Anah's niece's 18th birthday.

The best ever toast goes to Mike's childhood friend. Mike likes tattoos so his friend suprised mike with getting a "tattoo" in honor of his getting married.

ARamage: From capturing the emotion of Anah´s parents walking their daughter down the aisle; a moment I am sure has been anticipated since she was a little girl, knowing that one day it would be here and this day became a reality; to the emotion you captured of Anah and Mike´s first moments as husband and wife; to the love that Mike´s friend permanently professed as a symbol of loyality; to the carefree dancing of family of friends gathered. You really captured the essence of life´s happiest of moments. Images that will forever remind Anah and Mike of their special day. You captured it all girl! Rock on with your badself. Love ya! Snow day- SC childrens photographer
Saturday, February 13, 2010

I was so excited when I saw the first flakes of snow coming down, as it's quite rare for us to get snow around here.  I couldn't hardly hide my excitement when it came time to photograph a session with my favorite twins in the snow. Mom and I had joked about the possibility of a session in the snow, so it was fabulous to show up in their home to find lots of clothing options for the cold weather. I can't wait for mom to see these as she was held up in the house due to a nasty cold, so off me and the girls went to have a play date in the white wintery mix. Here are just a few of my favorites.
